We offer a few tips to help make the arrival process run smoothly on Monday, the first day of Summer Academy.
1. If you plan to drop your student off, you must enter from School Street and exit on Flossmoor Road. This is for the safety of the students and to help keep the flow of traffic moving.
2. Please be informed that there will be no in-person registration at Parker Junior High on Monday. If you have any questions or concerns about your student's registration, we are here to assist you. Please call 708-647- 5560 or email summeracademy@sd161.org.
3. School begins at 8:30 am and dismisses at 11:30 am.

Flossmoor Hills has TALENT!!! We successfully showcased our first musical performance. The cast of students were absolutely AMAZING! Thank you to Mr. Burke, Ms. Davis, our parents and all the staff for helping to make Toy Camp a wonderful event.
The stars shimmered over Flossmoor Hills last Thursday and Friday, illuminating a historic moment as the school unveiled its first musical, Toy Camp! This playful musical, directed by Mr. Daniel Burke and Ms. Jean Davis, shows us how toys learn to be toys before they graduate to the toy store shelves. We were lucky enough to be invited backstage before the show. The energy was electric, and the stars couldn't wait to be in front of a live audience. Stay tuned all week as we share photos and moments from this adorable show. A very special thank you to the directors for sharing their talents with the students of Flossmoor Hills school.
Toy Camp the musical premiers tomorrow! It's not too late to purchase a ticket. Doors open at 6 p.m. and curtain time is 6:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!
