The Parker Junior High PTO wishes to thank everyone who ordered Spirit Wear. Your order directly supports student and teacher programming and opportunities. We can't wait to see you wearing your Parker Pride!

On World Kindness Day we would like to recognize some of our Parker Junior High Students who were caught being kind! These students are part of a local Girl Scout Troop and they spent their time making cards and canvases for Veterans. These gifts will be sent to the Illinois Veterans' Home, Manteno as part of the Village of Flossmoor Community Relations Commission holiday project.

Today we had the pleasure of honoring our local Veterans with a special assembly. Part of the tribute included inspiring words from our Veterans and fabulous music from our Parker Junior High Band. We thank the Veterans for their service, dedication, and sacrifice. We are grateful to all Veterans every day for their service to our country.

Thank you to the students from Parker Junior High for volunteering your help during the annual Pumpkin Smash event.
🎃With your help we diverted 2.5 tons of pumpkin waste from landfills.
🎃We hosted 276 people at the event playing tic-tac-toe with pumpkins, dropping pumpkins from a bucket truck, and smashing pumpkins with a mallet.
🎃 60 volunteers helped the event run efficiently.

Last week, students from Mr. Daley and Mrs. Randell's 8th grade health classes were chosen to participate in the no-bake cooking class with Chef Hemminger. They created some tasty treats and learned a lot from Chef Hemminger, a regional chef for Ceres food group.
Thank you, Chef!
