Boys and girls soccer teams had games against Kankakee this afternoon. Both teams played hard but came up short. Our girls tied Kankakee 1-1 while the boys lost 3-0.

Congratulations to our boys and girls soccer teams on their wins yesterday against Columbia Central! The girls beat Columbia Central 10-1 while boys won 6-1. Way to go Falcons!

Congratulations to our 8th grade boys volleyball team on their win against James Hart tonight! Our 8th grade team won in 2 games with scores of 26-24;25-22. Our 7th grade team fought hard but lost the match against James Hart in 3 games. The team won their first match and lost the last 2 games.

All Flossmoor District 161 buildings will be closed on Thursday, February 17, 2022, due to inclement weather and bus transportation issues.
Students will participate in their learning activities from home. The school day will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:30 p.m. Teachers will share coursework and meeting links through Canvas. Students in early childhood and kindergarten previously brought home packets and materials to complete.
If you have any questions regarding the schedule for the day, please contact your child’s teacher or building principal.
There is no school on Friday, February 18, because of a pre-scheduled Institute Day.


Girls volleyball continues to have a great season. The 8th grade team won Monday night against Crete in 2 games 25-8;25-15. The 7th grade girls lost their match in 2 games 25-20; 26-24.
Our 7th and 8th grade girls won both games against Obama tonight. 7th grade scores were 25-15 and 25-9. 8th grade scores were 25-16 and 25-11. Way to go Lady Falcons!
